Can I open documents created in MacDraft in PC Draft ?

Yes.

Documents created by MacDraft versions between 4.3.5 and 5.5.11 can be opened in PCDraft version 4.3.5 and above.

Documents created in MacDraft version 5.5.0 and above may not display exactly the same as in MacDraft when opened in PCDraft as PC does not support all the Mac OSX features such as transparency and ATSUI text. All such objects will revert to solid fills and normal text.

MacDraft version 5.6.x can open files created by MacDraft version 4.3.5 and above and by PC Draft 4.3.5 and above but due to file format change in version 5.6, files created by version 5.6 are not backward compatible hence can only be opened in version 5.6.

If compatibility between MacDraft and PC Draft is required, please continue to use version prior to 5.6.

    Can I import a PICT document into MacDraft v 5.6.1? Can I import a MacDraft document created under MacDraft v 1.2a into MacDraft v 5.6.1 ?

    Already have PC Draft PE 5.0.5, but desire to convert to MacDraft PE. Are old PC Draft files readable by latest version of MacDraft or is readability limited to MacDraft earlier version of MacDraft?
