MacDraft Professional can save your documents as DWG files which are compatible with various versions of AutoCAD. You can then use these DWG files to open in AutoCAD and then reopen in MacDraft Professional, making MacDraft more compatible with other CAD applications.
DWG files are saved using the standard save dialog, where you can choose the version of the DWG file you wish to save, so that it will compatible with the AutoCAD version you are using.
You have now successfully saved your MacDraft document as a DWG file. In this instance we selected to save the file as a "DWG 2013" file, which means that will open on AutoCAD 2013 and 2014. If for any reason you find that AutoCAD or oher CAD applications will not open your DWG file, you may find resaving the document to an earlier version will help.
