To qualify for student discount you must be at least 13 years of age and enrolled in one of the following:
University or College - accredited public or private university or college (including community junior or vocational college) that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two years of full-time study.
Primary or secondary school - accredited public or private primary or secondary school providing full-time instruction.
Homeschool - governed by state homeschooling regulations.
To qualify for teacher discount you be one of the following:
Faculty or staff — employed by an accredited primary or secondary school, public or private university or college, school district, or board of education (including emeritus status professors)*
Teacher of a home schooled student — defined by state homes schooling regulations.
* Accredited schools are those that are approved by an association recognized by the U.S. Department of Education/State Board of Education, the Canadian/Provincial Ministries of Education or UK Department of Education/County Board of Education and that teach students as their primary focus. In the U.S., such associations include: Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Northwest Association of Accredited Schools.

Qualified Institutions:
Accredited public or private primary or secondary schools providing full-time instruction for grades K–12, or school districts for such schools*
Accredited public or private universities or colleges (including community, junior, or vocational colleges) that grant degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two years of full-time study*
School administrative offices or boards of education
Home schools approved by Microspot
Government schools in U.K., U.S. or Canadian territories
Named educational entities approved in writing by Microspot
Hospitals in the U.K. and U.S. that are wholly owned and operated by an educational institution. That is, the institution is the sole owner of the hospital and the only entity exercising control over day-to-day operations.
Higher-education research laboratories that are public institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education/State Board of Education, the Canadian/Provincial Ministries of Education or UK Department of Education/County Board of Education, teach students, and can provide a copy of bylaws that state the relationship with the controlling university.

Training centers or schools granting certificates for courses such as computer software training, including, without limitation: Ziff Davis University, Learning Tree University, New Horizon Computer Learning Center, Teacher Training Centers

Research laboratories not recognized by the U.S. Department of Education/State Board of Education, the Canadian/Provincial Ministries of Education or UK Department of Education/County Board of Education. For example, institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Defense or Energy or the National Research Council Canada. In addition, laboratories in the U.S. defined as Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) and University Affiliated Research Centers (UARCs) are not eligible. Examples include: Los Alamos National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratory, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Option 1: A school-issued email address. A school email address includes .edu, .k12 , and other email domains sponsored by your educational institution. Additional identification can be requested.
Option 2: A photocopy of your school ID. Before submitting the ID, cross out any sensitive information, such as a social security number or driver's license number. Make sure that the school ID contains the following items:
School name
Faculty/student name
Current* enrollment/employment date
Option 3: One of the following documents:
School transcript indicating name of school, student, and current* date
School tuition bill indicating name of school, student, and current* date
Report card indicating name of school, student, and current* date
Faculty or staff: A current paycheck stub
Faculty or staff: A letter from the registrar of the educational entity confirming your current* employment
Use a school-issued email address: If you provide a school-issued email address during purchase you are instantly verified. (A school email address includes: .edu, .k12 , and other email domains sponsored by your educational institution.)
If you do not have a school-issued email address or your email address cannot be verified, additional proof of eligibility may be requested after purchase.

A Microspot team member will ask you to email your proof or give you access to an FTP area to upload it to.
I purchased from a reseller
Your product comes with a set ofeducational serial numbers or product code. If a member of the team does not contact you, you can submit your code by contacting sales@microspot.co.uk for further instructions.
After you complete your order, you receive an email that includes your serial number(s). You can obtain yur serial number directly from us, after purchase by answering a set of security questions.
If you purchased directly from Microspot via Microspot.com or phone, you have 14 days to submit your proof of eligibility. If you purchased from a reseller, you have six days to submit your proof of eligibility.
If an order is due to expire, you receive email notification and it may be necessary to place the order again.

NOTE: If you have chosen to purchase a CD boxed product, it may be possible to supply you with a download of the product while you wait for the boxed product to arrive. This is subject to delivery time and destination.
Microspot will retain verification information for up to 6 months after your purchase. Beyond this time we cannot garauntee the verification information will still be stored, and you may be required to provide proof of eligability again, for further purchases.
For CD boxed products the License codes can be found on the inside of the DVD sleeve. If you have purchased a download of the product, the license codes can be found in the email sent to you when you purchased.
